February TBR

Hi, it’s already partly into February, but I’m still going to put out my monthly TBR because why not? I already read two books this month (or 1.5 because technically I started Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in January). Though, I did fully read Radio Silence in February and boy am I glad I did. That book is one of the most amazing I have ever read and I am so happy I finally picked it up. Watch out for my future review on it!

This TBR is a little all over the place, especially because I keep adding books onto it and because it’s very, very long. I think I figured initially that since I have a week long break from school, I’ll be able to read this much, but seriously, who am I kidding?

Anyway, I’m currently reading The Girls by Emma Cline for my AP US History paper, Wild Embers by Nikita Gill for my writing seminar class, and The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey for fun. I’m also reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck for AP US History, but I won’t finish it until March following our reading schedule.

After I finish some of the books I’m currently reading, I hope to hit The Kite RunnerThe Looking Glass Wars, Autonomous, The Hamilton Affair, The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Cruel Prince, and The Glass Spare. I also want to reread HP3, but we’ll see about that one.

We all know none of that is possible, but shooting for the stars is fun.

As well, my school book club chose The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas to read this month, so I definitely have to get to that one. I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet considering how popular it is (and supposedly amazing), so I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll also be annotating it for our discussions!

Uhh, so yeah, this is going to be a fun month. It should calm a little after this Saturday when I take the ACT. I’m currently a giant ball of stress for that and basically everything else, but I have actually had more time to read this semester. Here’s to my classes not killing me. Just wait until March, guys, when I’ll go for reading five books at most because it’s going to be one of the hardest months of the year…You’ll hear more when we get there.

I hope you all are having a great February so far. Wish me luck!
